The staff was very kind. The authentic rooms are located in former stables what gave it a little extra. Pub served nice local food for honest price. Good Breakfast included.
The busy pub was crowed with a variety off the town’s citizens which I liked, but what some older people or business man may not like. The Hotel is very authentic with rooms build in former stable but some may like some more comfort

Friendly helpful hotel, good accommodation with a good standard of food.
-
Great room with fabulous service. I was made to feel welcome from the minute I checked in and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The meals were excellent, well prepared using fresh ingredients and good sized portions. All in all a very pleasant stay
-
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were well decorated and comfortable. Mugs were provided for hot drinks. Good breakfast with a good variety of cereal.
The kettle provided was only big enough for one mug. The toilet paper was very poor quality and the TV was too small.

Yorkshire Pub with city quality accomodation. Excellent value , Defo go again
There was building work going on which meant that the place did not present itself as weel as it good but great value for money . They were extending the pub and making an area as a cafe ... hence the building work

Very friendly staff, made us really welcome in what was a hectic grand national day in the pub part, the stabled courtyard accomodation made a very quiet and private stay so enjoyable. The decor of room and shower were all to a very good, modern standar, even free wifi if you wanted it! Again sunday breakfast was graet as the time slot was designed to your specific requirement, ours being a lazy-ish 10-15! great breakfast, will definitely use again
-
Friendly and helpful staff. great location five minuet walk to railway station which has a frequent and cheap line direct to Leeds city centre, a 15 minuet ride away.Proper traditional pub. Really good breakfast included in price. If you are visiting Leeds you can park your car for free for the weekend and just use the train. Not luxury rooms but comfortable.
-
Friendly staff who were very helpful, Good car parking. Handy for M1 and M62. Comfortable room, free WiFi. Bar food at a resonable price.
-
Really good to find a hotel that is so dog friendly yet clean !! The staff were efficient & friendly & a good breakfast to boot !! Would use again.
Could do with a bigger TV in the bedroom - had trouble viewing from the bed - small quibble really !!

Very friendly service and a comfortable stay

Very friendly area reflecting in the atmosphere and staff in the pub.A great place to relax after following the wife around the shops. Will stay again.
-
A very friendly welcome upon arrival, on the worst sbnowbound weekend of 2012.fEB 4/5/th. The accommadation in the "stable bLOCK" was very spacious. Although we had to ask for the central heating to be put onearlier. The temp. Was -5 outside.1. Super breakfast. And every effort made to get us a taxi to our party . wOULD stay again.

I object to been asked to leave a credit card behind the bar to cover a bar food tab. It took a while to get the owner to pre athorizse my card to allow me to set up a tab. If they want to get business customers they need to sharpen up there act

The Midland is a great pub with rooms, very welcoming and in my opinion a cut above many of the major brands. The room was comfortable, the food was tasty and the staff were attentive
